CPD: OPA, Gladue Principles: How They Apply to Provincial Offences Act Cases

Overview

This CPD will focus on Gladue Principles and their application to Provincial Offences Act (POA) cases.  We will also learn about the history and importance of R.  v. Gladue, something everyone should be aware of no matter what their practice area. 

The program will also include a discussion about effective client communication. And will help participants navigate those difficult discussions with clients. Although this CPD focuses on the application of Gladue to POA matters it will include practical information for all practitioners.
